CEVA, Inc. and Silentium Ltd. announced that the companies have partnered to deliver a low power active noise cancellation solution for headsets and hearables. For consumers constantly looking for an improved experience from their wireless headsets, earbuds and hearables, Active Noise Cancellation is a must-have feature. Headset chip developers require a flexible solution to suit their specific product needs and Silentium's software-based algorithms coupled with CEVA's programmable DSP deliver this flexibility, within the stringent power budget of a portable product. The solution is based on a CEVA-TeakLite-4 implementation of Silentium's acclaimed Broadband P2P ANC technology which enhances the personal audio experience. The P2P solution supports broadband fully adaptive ANC technology up to 1 KHz and licensees can choose from feedforward, feedback or hybrid systems for their desired application.
