Roc-1 well update retraction

In reference to the Roc-1 Well Update provided on 18 January 2016, upon request from the Australian Stock Exchange Carnarvon Petroleum Limited ("Carnarvon") (ASX:CVN) advises that it retracts the disclosure of the preliminary information prepared by Finder Exploration which was provided by Carnarvon on pages four to ten of the announcement. The disclosure of total petroleum initially in place is prohibited under ASX Listing Rule 5.25.3.
