HOUSTON, Jan. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CARBO Ceramics Inc. (NYSE: CRR) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the payment of a dividend on February 15, 2012, of $0.24 per share to all shareholders of record on February 1, 2012.

CARBO is the world's largest supplier of ceramic proppant for fracturing oil and gas wells; provider of the industry's most popular fracture simulation software; and a provider of fracture design and consulting services.
