Canadian High Income Equity Fund announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 585,400 shares, representing 9.99% of its issued and outstanding units and 10% of its public float. The units may only be purchased at a price per unit not exceeding the last published net asset value per unit through the facilities of the TSX or other eligible alternative market.
The repurchased units will be cancelled. The Manager of the Fund believes that such purchases are in the best interest of the Fund and are a desirable use of its available funds. The plan will commence on March 12, 2014 and will expire on March 11, 2015.
As of March 3, 2014, the company has 5,854,261 units in public float and 5,854,261 units issued and outstanding.
