Camil Alimentos S.A. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended May 31, 2023. For the first quarter, the company reported net income was BRL 64.01 million compared to BRL 96.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.1836 compared to BRL 0.2691 a year ago.
Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.1791 compared to BRL 0.2642 a year ago.

The Company focuses on the manufacture and commercialization of rice, rice crackers, beans, peas, chickpeas and lentil seeds, soybean-based meals, popcorn, sugar and seafood, among others. The Company's products are distributed under various brand names, including Camil, Pescador, Coqueiro, Uniao, Barra, Dolce, Namorado, Butui, Bonzao, Neve and Ducula in Brazil; Saman in Uruguay; Tucapel in Chile, as well as Costeno and Paisana in Peru. The Company operates grain processing units, fish processing plants and sugar mills. The Company controls a number of subsidiaries, such as Camil Internacional Argentina SA, Carreteiro Industria e Comercio de Alimentos Ltda and Ciclo Logistica Ltda.
