(EUCLID, Ohio) - BWX Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BWXT) has appointed Mike Boorstein as the new general manager for its Nuclear Operations Group-Euclid manufacturing facility.

In this role, Boorstein will have full responsibility for BWXT's daily operations at the site. The facility employs more than 350 workers and manufactures electro-mechanical components for naval nuclear reactors used in submarines and aircraft carriers.

Boorstein retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2015 after a distinguished career. He then held leadership positions with Alcoa (later known as Arconic). In 2020 he became general manager at the Amazon Robotic Sortable Fulfillment Center in Akron. He graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in applied and engineering physics. He also earned an MBA from George Washington University and a master's degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.
