"RIVUS QUARTUS": first construction phase celebrates topping out

• 100 subsidised apartments and 30 condominiums on the River Liesing
• Two- to four-room apartments of approx. 50 to 105 sqm

The topping-out ceremony for the "RIVUS QUARTUS" project took place on 26 January together with around 120 guests including District Manager Gerald Bischof, District Councillor Elisabeth Kamper, architect Peter Lorenz and Strabag builder Gerald Urban. Following the start of construction in 2015, the shell of "RIVUS QUARTUS" has now been completed as part of a residential park being developed with a total of seven structures. The 100 subsidised apartments and 30 condominiums will be transferred to their new residents in fall of this year. "I am very pleased such a versatile new building with optimal infrastructure is being constructed here in Liesing. The completion of the new residential park will be an enrichment for the district and future residents", says Gerald Bischof, district manager of the 23rd district.

Living on the edge of the city close to the centre

"With the topping-out ceremony for 'RIVUS QUARTUS' we have nearly completed the first phase of the large-scale 'RIVUS QUARTUS' project". In the near future, the residents will be able to enjoy both the green surroundings and nearby natural oases here as well as the favourable infrastructure and rapid connection to the city centre", Andreas Holler, head of development at the BUWOG Group, says about the construction project. The green areas planned within the complex as well as the surrounding valley of the River Liesing, the Lainzer Zoo and spacious Vienna Woods also ensure opportunities for recreation. A bus station with which the "Atzgersdorf" commuter train station can be reached within a few minutes is located directly in front of the residential complex.

In addition to the planned residential units including high-quality BUWOG fixtures and fittings and open areas such as a balcony, loggia or private garden, "RIVUS QUARTUS" will also have a community room, playgrounds and even a kindergarten. The highlight for the residents will be the swimming pool available exclusively for them on the rooftop of the complex.
