Exchange vide notice number 20221011-45 dated 11th Oct 2022 informed market participants about the launch of new season Turmeric Futures contract for the months of April 2023 and onwards. Based on the aforementioned notice, the expiry date of April and May 2023 months contract falls on 20th April 2023 and 19th May 2023 respectively.

However, on account of Amavasya the spot market of Turmeric at basis center Nizamabad shall remain closed on 20th April and 19th May 2023 and therefore the prices of spot market shall not be available for the aforementioned dates.<_o3a_p>

In view of the above and in accordance with SEBI Master circular on commodity derivatives SEBI/HO/CDMRD/DMP/P/CIR/2022/64 dated May 17, 2022, trading members may note the below changes in the expiry date of Turmeric Futures Contract for the months of April and May 2023. <_o3a_p>

The aforesaid changes will be effective from January 19,2023.<_o3a_p>

The contract master file of commodity derivatives segment shall reflect the revised expiry dates.<_o3a_p>
