The Board of Directors of Biosensors International Group, Ltd. ("the Company") wishes to announce that Biosensors Interventional Technologies Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has incorporated a subsidiary, Biosensors Interventional Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia with an initial issued and paid up capital of RM2.00 comprising two ordinary shares of RM1.00 each.
The principal activities of Biosensors Interventional Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. are sales and marketing of medical devices.
The transaction is funded by internal resources and is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share or the net tangible assets of the Company in the current financial year ending 31 March 2016.
None of the Directors or Substantial Shareholders of the Company or their associates has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction, save for their interests arising by way of their directorships in the Company and Biosensors Interventional Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
