EU Might Buy Fewer Vaccine Doses From Pfizer, BioNTech for Higher Price, Reuters Reports

--The European Commission is in talks with Pfizer and BioNTech to reduce the up to 500 million covid-19 vaccine doses that it had committed to buying, in exchange for higher prices, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed source.

--The agreement might also possibly include an extension of the deadline for delivery until the second half of 2024, Reuters said, citing the source.

--Negotiations are continuing and it isn't yet clear what the final outcome may be, according to the agency.
