Bangladesh's telecom regulator Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulator Commission (BTRC) says it is yet to receive any application from Bharti Airtel Limited (BSE:532454) which is reportedly planning to sell off its tower network in Bangladesh to boost its cash reserves, reports bdnews24.com. Sunil Kanti Bose, Chairman of BTRC, said, "We have not received any such proposal or application from Airtel. I have come to know of the matter from the media." Bharti expects at least $200 million from divesting its 4,000-strong tower network in Airtel Bangladesh Limited, Times of India reported citing anonymous sources with "knowledge of the matter."
