At the recent board meeting, Mr. Moses Marx resigned his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Marx has been the Bank's majority shareholder from its early years and will continue to sit on the Board as well as hold the position of Honorary Chairman. The Board and Management of the Bank expressed their appreciation to Mr. Marx for his leadership and commitment to the Bank's success over the years.

Mr. Marx nominated Mr. Moses Krausz and the Board unanimously voted to elect him as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Krausz has worked in the financial industry throughout his entire career and had served as the President/CEO of the Bank from 1992 to 2019. He has also served on the Board of Directors since 1992. Mr. Krausz has been instrumental in the growth and continued success of the Bank and he continues to provide guidance as a senior member of the management team.

We wish him much success as he embarks on this new journey as Chairman of the Board with The Berkshire Bank. We know he will bring his depth of knowledge and experience with him to this new position.
