Every single day, an average of two emergency responders are struck by vehicles while helping people on the road. Some are critically injured and can no longer work. Every fifth day, one dies. From police and firefighters to emergency first responders and construction workers, the campaign will focus on reminding drivers to slow down and move over to provide them with the necessary room to work.
The campaign run from Monday, January 17th- March 31st and will feature on air public service announcements and digital content on the station websites as well as interviews on public service shows.
"Our Community of Caring initiative underscores the heart and soul upon which our company was built upon," said Beasley Media Group Chief Executive Officer Caroline Beasley. We are thrilled to support the hardworking women and men who help others in need on our busy roadways on a daily basis."
