FTSE SMALL CAP - WINNERS

BasicNet takes the top spot with a 4.5 percent gain at EUR5.57 per share. The company announced Friday that it had purchased 16,500 of its own ordinary shares between December 27 and 30.

The shares were taken over at an average price per share of EUR5.4810, for a total value of EUR90,440.50. The stock in the past month has given up 0.4 percent.

Eukedos also does well, up 3.3 percent. The stock has left 3.5 percent on the parter in the last month, 7.4 percent in the last six months, and 31 percent in the last 12 months.

Doing worst of all is Zucchi, down 3.1%. The stock has given up 8.1% in the last month and 34% in the last year.
