BasicNet : Record for Italian downhill racers sponsored by Kappa and new victories in cross-country skiing for Federico Pellegrino

For the first time in history, Italy gains the entire podium in women's downhill. The record was reached on Sunday, January 14^th in Bad Kleinkirchheim, Austria, by Sofia Goggia (first), Federica Brignone (second) and Nadia Fanchini (third), athletes of the Fisi - Italian Winter Sports Federation sponsored by Kappa^® since 2011. On the same day, Federico Pellegrino won the 1^st place in the Sprint Team, paired with Dietmaer Noeckler, on the Dresden track (Germany): a new cross-country skiing discipline that will be among the competitions of the upcoming PyeongChang Olympic Games. Saturday, January 13^th Pellegrino had already reached his tenth career triumph in the individual sprint.
