Recently, Bank of China (Eluosi) Primorskiy Branch officially opened in Vladivostok, the capital city of Primorskiy Kray. It is the second branch set up in the Russian Far East by Bank of China (Eluosi) and also the first Chinese-funded financial institution in Primorskiy Kray.

Adjacent to Heilongjiang Province of China, Primorskiy Kray has a population of 1.98 million and covers an area of 164,000 km2. Enjoying a great geographical advantage, Primorskiy Kray has frequent exchanges with the northeastern region of China in terms of trade, investment and tourism. Vladivostok (previously known as Haishenwai in China) is the most important harbor city in the Russian Far East.

Dealing with currencies including RUB, RMB, USD and EUR, the branch offers services for personal deposit and remittance, personal loan, personal currency exchange, corporate deposit and credit, international settlement and trade financing.

In June 2012, Bank of China opened its first Russian Far East branch in Khabarovsk.
