BANCA SISTEMA: € 3.1 BILLION OF TURNOVER FACTORING IN 2020

  • In 2020 Factoring turnover volumes were at € 3.1 billion, + 2% y/y
  • Purchases of receivables showed a growth in healthcare and football sectors

Banca Sistema Factoring Division closes 2020 with € 3.1 billion of turnover volumes (+2%y/y): purchases of receivebles from the suppliers of the healthcare system and the football industry reported a strong growth against a substantial stability in PA credits and a drop in tax receivebles.

Andrea Trupia, Head of Banca Sistema Factoring Division, remarked: "In the persistence of the emergency period with impacts on GDP and on the Italian economic system, Banca Sistema Factoring has registered in 2020 a positive commercial trend. The satisfaction for this achievement is twofold: we have continued without any interruption to support businesses and the real economy of the country, which has been our mission since the establishment in 2011 during the credit crunch, and we have furtherly showed our resilience facing the unexpected situation with strong teamwork, both internally and with the customers' relation, granting a specialized in the area."

Factoring proved to be the ideal solution for small and medium-sized companies to fund their working capital and thus their account receivables, as well as for large companies, such as multinationals, to improve their net financial position and obtain a valid support for their collection and servicing activities.
