This was said by a source close to the situation confirming what was anticipated by Ansa.

Fininvest controls MFE-Media For Europe and Mondadori and has 30 percent of Banca Mediolanum.

In a note circulated this morning, Marina, Pier Silvio, Barbara, Eleonora and Luigi Berlusconi said that based on a reading of their father's will, it appears that "no party will hold indirect sole control over Fininvest," previously exercised by Silvio Berlusconi.

"The Fininvest share in Silvio Berlusconi's fortune went to his two eldest children Marina and Pier Silvio, who together will have 53 percent of the holding company," said a source close to the situation.

Marina, chairman of Fininvest and Mondadori, and Pier Silvio, CEO of Mfe, will have equal shares in Fininvest, Ansa writes.

"I leave the available in equal parts to my children Marina and Pier Silvio. I leave everything else in equal parts to my five children," the agency says, citing the will.

According to Ansa, Silvio Berlusconi has arranged for 100 million euros to go to his brother Paolo Berlusconi, as much to his partner Marta Fascina; 30 million to his friend Marcello Dell'Utri.

In a weak market (Ftse Mib -1%) MFE stock gives up nearly 1%, MONDADORI 0.2%, MEDIOLANUM 1.9%.
