Avenue Supermarts Limited reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2024. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was INR 127,265.5 million compared to INR 105,941.1 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 127,644.2 million compared to INR 106,271.8 million a year ago. Net income was INR 5,632.5 million compared to INR 4,601.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.66 compared to INR 7.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 8.64 compared to INR 7.06 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was INR 507,888.3 million compared to INR 428,395.6 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 509,352.8 million compared to INR 429,689 million a year ago. Net income was INR 25,361.7 million compared to INR 23,785.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 38.99 compared to INR 36.72 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 38.93 compared to INR 36.49 a year ago.

DMart is a supermarket chain that offers customers a range of products with a focus on the foods, non-foods fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and general merchandise and apparel product categories.
