(Alliance News) - Autogrill Spa reported Tuesday that first-quarter revenues increased to EUR1.03 billion or 40 percent from EUR719.8 million in the same period last year.

The performance was mainly driven by the steady recovery, in particular, of international airport traffic, in all the group's main geographic areas. Revenues for the first quarter of 2022 were still affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and mobility restrictions in some geographic areas.

Revenues for the first quarter of 2023 represented about 96 percent of those recorded in the same period of 2019 at constant exchange rates and excluding divestments during the period.

Autogrill's stock closed Tuesday up 1.1 percent at EUR7.06 per share.
