Effective September 1, 2016, following Bernard Pinatel’s departure from the group, Christophe André and Vincent Legros will be joining Arkema’s Executive Committee. Responsibility for the High Performance Materials segment will be split into two: Christophe André will be appointed Executive Vice President Technical Polymers and Performance Additives (filtration, organic peroxides and photocure resins activities). He will also be in charge of digital affairs within the Group. Vincent Legros will be appointed Executive Vice President Specialty Adhesives (Bostik). Alongside Thierry Le Hénaff (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer), Arkema’s Executive Committee will therefore comprise three operational Executive Vice Presidents: Marc Schuller (Industrial Specialties and Coating Solutions segments), Christophe André (Technical Polymers and Performance Additives) and Vincent Legros (Bostik), as well as four functional Executive Vice Presidents: Luc Benoit-Cattin (Industry), Bernard Boyer (Corporate Strategy), Michel Delaborde (Human Resources and Communication), and Thierry Lemonnier (Finance). Christophe André after several postings in Telecommunications, in 2001 he joined specialty chemicals manufacturer Rohm & Haas to oversee the European-wide development of the Monomers division before managing the Adhesives and Packaging division. Vincent Legros joined the Saint-Gobain group as production engineer at the Pont-à-Mousson plant (1998 – 2000), before becoming manager of the Toul plant (2000 – 2002), followed by deputy manager of the Pont-à-Mousson plant (2000 – 2004), and managing director of the fittings and valves business (2004 – 2006). He was appointed managing director of operations for Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson in 2006. From 2009 to 2013 he held the post of managing director of Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson China. Since 2013 he had been managing director of Saint-Gobain Pont-à-Mousson and manager of the group’s pipe business.
