Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Limited Announces Option to Redemption Date of Subordinated Notes Due January 17, 2018

ANZ has notified holders of its floating rate subordinated notes due January 17, 2018, that it intends to exercise its option to redeem the Notes in full on the next Optional redemption date of January 17, 2013. The company confirmed that the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has approved the redemption of the notes.
