Amazon: Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17

Amazon announced on Tuesday that it plans to hold its annual Prime Day event, the tenth in its history, on July 16 and 17.
For two days, members of its Prime preferential program will be able to take advantage of millions of promotions in categories such as consumer electronics, kitchenware and beauty products.
The e-commerce giant plans to offer new deals every five minutes, as well as private sales offering up to 40% off Sony wireless headphones and Peloton sports equipment.
Offers on brands such as New Balance, HP and Jansport will also be available in time for the back-to-school season.
On Prime Video, member customers will be able to take advantage of discounts of 50% on movies for rental and purchase, and significant reductions will be offered on Amazon devices such as Ring Battery ringtones, the Fire TV Cube or the Kindle Scribe.
The Prime Day event is being held in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the UAE, the USA and the UK.
