AltiGen Communications, Inc. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended December 31, 2017. Revenue for the first quarter was $2.3 million, up 10% from $2.1 million in the previous quarter, and compared to $2.1 million in the same period a year ago. Net profit for the quarter was $338,000, up 59% from $212,000 in the previous quarter, and compared to a net profit of $85,000 for the prior year quarter. These results reflect the effects of FASB 123R expensing of noncash share-based compensation in the amounts of approximately $6,000 in the current quarter, $4,000 in the preceding quarter, and $5,000 in the same period a year ago.
