Alternet Systems, Inc. provided revenue guidance for the year 2018. The company push to potentially reach $1 million in revenue by the end of 2018. The previously unexpected benchmark this early in the company’s development is credited by management to the surge in the low speed electric vehicle market (LSEV) driven largely by the growing interest in electric scooters, bikes and motorcycles for urban transportation. The global LSEV market attained a size of $35.2 billion in 2017 and is forecasted to reach $68 billion by 2025. The LSEV market consists largely of electric scooters, motorcycles, bikes, kick scooters, mono wheels, and some three-wheelers and four-wheelers. ALYI has recently announced two fleet orders for its retro designed ReVolt Electric Motorcycle with side car and management indicates more orders are under development. Completing the pilot test of its electric motorcycle before the end of the year will trigger deposits being made in conjunction with the first two orders adding to the company’s existing sales income and potentially reaching $1 million in total revenue by the end of 2018.
