Alsons Consolidated Resources, Inc. announced that at its AGM held on May 27, 2016 approved the election of Tomas i. Alcantara, Editha i. Alcantara, Elejandro i. Alcantara, Conrado c. Alcantara, Aamon t. Diokno, Tirso g. Santillan, jr, Carlos g. Dominguez, Honorio a. Poblador III, jacinto g. Gavino, jr. (independent director), Jose Ben r. Laraya (independent director), Thomas g. Aquino (Independent Director) as directors of the company. The company also approved the election of Editha I. Alcantara, Thomas G. Aquino, Jose Ben R. Laraya, Tirso G. Santillan to the executive committee, Jose Ben R. Laraya as chairman, Editha I. Alcantara, Tirso G. Santillan, Jacinto C, Gavino, Ramon T. Diokno to the audit committee, Tomas I. Alcantara as chairman, Honorio A. Poblador-III, Jose Ben R. Laraya, Tirso G. Santillan to the compensation committee, Editha I. Alcantara, Luis R. Ymson, Sylvia M. Duque to the retirement committee, Jose Ben R. Laraya as chairman, Editha I. Alcantara, Tirso G. Santillan, jacinto C. Gavino, and Ramon T. Diokno to the audit committee, Tomas I. Alcantara as chairman, Jose Ben R. Laraya, Carlos G. Dominguez, Sylvia M. Duque as HR Manager to the nomination Committee.
Alsons Consolidated Resources, Inc. is a Philippines-based investment holding company. The Companyâs secondary purpose is oil exploration. The Companyâs subsidiaries are engaged in power generation, property development, industrial estate management and other investments. The Company conducts its business activities through two segments: Power and Energy, and Property Development. The Companyâs energy and power operations are located on three different sites. Its subsidiary, Western Mindanao Power Corporation (WMPC), has a power plant on a nine hectares property in Sitio Malasugat, Sangali, Zamboanga City, and its subsidiary, Southern Philippines Power Corporationâs plant is situated on a 16 hectare property located in Alabel, Sarangani Province, which is 13 kilometers east of General Santos City. Property Development segment acquires, develops, sells and holds for investment or otherwise, real estate of all kinds, subleases office spaces and manufactures door and house frames.
