On June 26, 2024, Ted Davis, a member of the Board of Directors of Alpha Teknova, Inc. (the ?Company?), notified the Company of his intention to retire from the Company?s Board of Directors (the ?Board?). Mr. Davis informed the Company that his decision to retire is due to his other personal and professional interests and does not arise from any disagreement with the Board or the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies, or practices or any issue impacting the Board. With effect on June 28, 2024, the Board, upon the recommendation of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, adopted a resolution by unanimous written consent decreasing the number of directors on the Company's Board from nine to eight and the number of Class I directors from three to two, taking account of Mr. Davis's retirement from the Board.
