Alliance Resource Partners has appointed Heath A. Lovell as the vice president of public affairs. Lovell will report to President and CEO Joseph W. Craft III. Lovell has been with Alliance since 2006, most recently as vice president of operations in the Illinois Basin. Lovell has 20 years of experience in the mining industry.
