Alchip Technologies, Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,551.39 million compared to TWD 2,558.18 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 443.55 million compared to TWD 359.94 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 6.2 compared to TWD 5.12 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 5.94 compared to TWD 4.84 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 9,143.07 million compared to TWD 7,943.19 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1,320.16 million compared to TWD 1,136.59 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 18.53 compared to TWD 16.34 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 17.6 compared to TWD 15.31 a year ago.
Alchip Technologies, Ltd. is principally engaged in the research, development, design and manufacturing of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and system-on-chip (SoC) products. The Company is also involved in the non-recurring engineering of wafers, which provides IC design component database and semiconductor intellectual property (SIP), and designs and tests products produced by its original equipment manufacturer for clients. The Company also offers wafer back-end manufacturing, packaging and testing services. The Company's main products are mainly applied in digital televisions, communications network, other consumer electronics, communication equipment, medical devices and automobile electronics, among others. The Company distributes its products in domestic markets, and to Japan and mainland China.
