The new 2017 Summer Timetable will come into effect on Sunday, 26 March. Passengers will be able to choose from more than 230 scheduled direct flights a week from Ljubljana, to 25 destinations in 20 countries. Ljubljana Airport will welcome a new low-cost airline Transavia, which will commence flights to Amsterdam on 4 April.

During the summer season there will be more flights on offer from Ljubljana than last year. Adria Airways will increase the number of flights to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Moscow, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje and Warsaw. Over the summer months, the domestic carrier will fly direct to 11 other destinations: Brussels, Vienna, Frankfurt, Manchester, Munich, Paris, Prague, Priština, Tel Aviv, Tirana and Zürich.

New low-cost airline Transavia

We will welcome a new low-cost airline on 4 April, the Dutch Transavia, which will operate three weekly flights between Ljubljana and Amsterdam (on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays). Passengers can reserve the flight tickets on carrier's website www.transavia.com, already from 35 € for one way ticket.

Following a winter break, Finnair is returning to Ljubljana Airport with five weekly flights to Helsinki. Low cost easyJet will continue with four weekly flights to London Gatwick (introduced during winter schedule) and nine weekly flights to London Stansted. Air Serbia will offer 12 weekly flights to Belgrade, two flights per week less compared to Summer Timetable 2016, but one additional in comparison to Winter Timetable 2016/2017.

Other foreign scheduled airlines will be operating their destinations throughout the summer season. Turkish Airlines will connect Ljubljana and Istanbul twice daily. Passengers can fly to Paris with Air France every day of the week and to Warsaw with LOT Polish Airlines six times weekly. Low-cost Wizz Air will offer two weekly flights to Brussels (Charleroi) and four weekly flights to London Luton. Montenegro Airlines will operate three flights a week between Ljubljana and Podgorica.

The number of charter flights will be comparable to last year. The current forecast for charter services indicates that a choice of 20 destinations with nine airlines will be available this summer.
