Advan Group Co., Ltd. (TSE:7463) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 2,200,000 shares, representing 5.53% of its issued share capital (excluding treasury stock), for a total purchase price of ¥1,735.8 million. The shares will be repurchased at a price of ¥789 per share.
The purpose of the program is to improve capital efficiency and enable flexible execution of capital policies in response to changes in the business environment. As of April 19, 2022, the company has 39,815,746 issued shares (excluding treasury stock) and 13,996,946 treasury shares.
Advan Group Co Ltd, formerly Advan Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the import and sale of building finishing materials. The Company operates in three business segments. The Construction Materials Related segment is engaged in the import and sale of construction materials such as stones, tiles, housing-related products, fireplaces and stoves, faucets, system kitchens and other building materials, as well as the related construction works.
