U.S. Corn Export Inspections Fall

Export inspections of U.S. corn fell from the previous week, while inspections of soybeans and wheat rose, the Agriculture Department said on Monday.

In its latest weekly report, the USDA said that corn inspections for the week ended June 13 totaled 1.29 million metric tons, down from 1.34 million a week earlier. Soybean inspections rose to 334,237 tons from 234,061 tons, and wheat inspections increased to 374,637 tons from 352,402 tons.

Mexico was the leading destination for corn, totaling 342,967 tons, followed by Japan with 333,656 tons.

Most-active corn is down 0.4% in morning trading, soybeans are down 1.6%, and wheat falls 2.8%.
