Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, today announced the appointment of Christophe Haugen as EVP Strategy and Operations.

Christophe is responsible for driving strategy, corporate development and continuous business improvement across the global business. He joins Unit4 from Bain & Company where he was a senior Principal in Bain’s European Private Equity and technology practices. While at Bain, Christophe focused specifically on the software industry across Europe working extensively with financial investors and management teams on both pre-deal diligence and post-acquisition projects.

Prior to Bain, Christophe was a managing consultant at Actuate (now OpenText) in San Francisco and started his career in research at Stanford Research Institute (SRI International).

“I have been involved from the side-lines with Unit4 for several years supporting the management team through several M&A transactions in recent years,” said Christophe. “I am therefore very much looking forward to joining and continuing the journey from the inside, helping build on the tremendous successes and momentum already achieved.”

“I’m very pleased to welcome Christophe to the Unit4 team. He will play a critical role in the company’s future success, bringing together value creation and ambitious growth that will benefit our people and our customers,” said José Duarte, Unit4 CEO. “Christophe’s extensive industry experience will be a great asset as we achieve our ambition to deliver a new enterprise software experience to service organizations.”

Christophe holds an MSc in computer science from ENSEIRB, France, and an MBA with distinction from London Business School.
