U.S. issues alert for its citizens in Mexico's Sinaloa

STORY: U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price said in a news conference on Thursday that there has been reports of gunfire, roadblocks and fires throughout the cities of Culiacan, Los Mochis, Gusave, in Sinaloa Mexico.

"We advise Americans not to travel to Sinaloa as a result. For those Americans who are in Sinaloa, we strongly encourage them to monitor local news, to follow emergency instructions provided by local authorities," he added.
