WASHINGTON, Jan 12 (Reuters) - U.S. Chamber of Commerce CEO Thomas Donohue on Tuesday called on Congress to support the U.S. economy through the end of the coronavirus pandemic, but warned lawmakers against a return to "anti-competitive" higher taxes and increased regulation.

In his annual "State of American Business" speech, Donohue also called on the Biden administration to lift punitive tariffs put in place by the Trump administration and to re-engage with trade and "catch up" with other countries that are signing new trade deals.
