GreenBlue's Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) and Smithers Pira, in association with Packaging Digest, are proud to announce the agenda for SUSTPACK 2015: Collaborating to Move Sustainability Forward, taking place March 30-April 2nd at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL. SUSTPACK 2015 brings together CPGs, researchers, suppliers and sustainability experts – including Dow, MIT, Target, 3M, Pepsi, Tetra Pak, Georgia Pacific, the New York City Department of Sanitation, Annie's, the U.S. EPA, Johnson & Johnson and more - for the industry’s most comprehensive look at the future of sustainable packaging.

Building off of the success of Smithers Pira's Sustainability in Packaging conference and GreenBlue's SPC Spring Conference, the SUSTPACK 2015 conference and exhibition will serve the needs of the entire supply chain, from feedstock and material suppliers, to converters, brand owners, and other end users. In addition to those listed above, more than 50 organizations will be presenting over the three day event, including Amcor Flexibles; Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI); Biopolymer Network Limited; ConAgra Foods; DSM Environmental Services; ebeam Technologies; Foodservice Packaging Institute; Full Cycle BioPlastics; Kaleidoscope; LOLIWARE; NatureWorks; Ocean Conservancy; Omya; Replenish; Unilever and many others. “SUSTPACK 2015 will cover a wide range of topics including boosting consumer engagement with sustainable packaging, biopolymers, marine debris, and recyclability and recovery. The business executives, R&D leaders, government policy makers and investors who will be in the room will also have the opportunity to hear 10 minute flash talks devoted to sustainable technologies and/or processes that have been developed over the last year and a half,” said John Lewinski, head of US events for Smithers Pira. “SUSTPACK 2015 will kick off with workshops, tours, a new golf tournament and The Trashies, the packaging industry's newest awards honoring the people, process or public service behind the sustainable accomplishments in our industry. This will be a truly stand-out event for packaging and sustainability professionals to come together.”

“SUSTPACK 2015 is truly taking shape as a can’t-miss event for the packaging industry. With the diverse range of topics, attendees from across the supply chain will come home with actionable sustainability insights for their companies.” said Nina Goodrich, Executive Director of GreenBlue and Director of the SPC. “We’re also very excited to be complementing such a great lineup of speakers, sessions, tours and workshops with great networking opportunities, like the newly announced golf tournament, and our new awards ceremony, The Trashies.”

Lisa McTigue Pierce, Executive Editor of Packaging Digest, adds, “Great networking at this event with some of the top minds in sustainability will enthuse and empower you to take those next small steps or great leaps in your packaging program. Success doesn’t just happen; it’s made by people who are focused and motivated.”
