The enterprises of the TATNEFT Group of Companies produced 2,526 thousand tonnes of crude oil in December 2019, while the production volume for twelve months amounted to 29,798 thousand tonnes, which was 264 thousand tonnes more than during the similar period in 2018.
PJSC TATNEFT's production volume amounted to 2,498 thousand tonnes of crude oil, while the production volume for twelve months amounted to 29,468 thousand tonnes (+276 thousand tonnes versus 2018).
The Company's production from the licensed areas outside the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 28.5 thousand tonnes, while the production volume for twelve months of the year amounted to 329 thousand tonnes (-12.6 thousand tonnes versus 2018).
The production volume of the high-viscosity oil amounted to 263.2 thousand tonnes in December with the volume of 2,735 thousand tonnes produced since the beginning of the year (+785.7 thousand tonnes versus the same period of 2018.
New Drilling
726 new wells were built and delivered to customers in twelve months (628 wells in 2018), including drilling of 577 production wells and 125 wells drilled to bitumen deposits with the exploration drilling accounting for 24 wells.
Active Well Stock Drilling
75 wells were delivered in the category of sidetracks and horizontal wellbore drilling for twelve months of 2019.
Drilling of Wells Outside the Republic of Tatarstan
As of today, there were 9 production and 1 exploratory well drilled accordance with the plan; drilling of the production well No. 347 and the exploratory well No. 33 for OOO Tatneft-Samara Company is underway.
Drilling of 4 wells was completed in the Nenets Autonomous District: No. 4p Severo-Khayakhinskaya No. 5p Vostochno-Khayakhinskaya, No. 6p Vostochno-Khayakhinskaya and No. 3p Severo-Khayakhinskaya.
Repair of Wells
The remedial well servicing and workover crews performed basic well servicing in 10,791 wells at the sites of PJSC TATNEFT in twelve months of 2019 (968 wells in December), while the workover operations were performed at 2,510 wells (222 wells in December). Formation hydrocracking operations were performed at 823 wells (41 wells in December).
Crude oil recovery enhancement operations were performed in 1,744 wells (111 wells in December).
Production Performance of JSC TANECO
The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 1,004.6 thousand tonnes of raw stock in December with the volume processed since the beginning of the year amounting to 10,794.5 thousand tonnes and the volume of petroleum feedstock in the amount of 944.5 thousand tonnes processed in December, while the volume of the petroleum feedstock processed since the beginning of the year amounted to 10,060.1 thousand tonnes.
The Complex yielded 906.9 thousand tonnes of petroleum products in December 2019, while the products yield since the beginning of the year amounted to 10,097.6 thousand tonnes, including motor gasoline brands production accounting for 101.2 thousand tonnes, and 1,128.3 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year and diesel fuel production in the amount of 313.9 thousand tonnes and 3,662.05 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the year.
