The Industrial Production Prices Index recorded a year-on-year change rate of 1.7% in December (null change rate in November). Excluding the Energy grouping, the year-on-year change rate was null (reduction of 0.5% in the previous month). The monthly change rate of the total index was 1.0% (-0.7% in December 2015).
In the 4th quarter 2016, the year-on-year change rate of the total index was 0.2% (-3.0% in the previous quarter).
The annual change rate of the total index was -2.8% in 2016 (-2.4% in 2015). The indexes for the internal and external market registered variations of -1.7% and -4.3% respectively. Excluding the Energy grouping, the annual change rate stood at -0,5% in 2016 (1,6% in 2015).
