Increase of total net electricity generation in December compared to November
Compared to November 2013, in December 2013 total net electricity generation increased by 21% and consumption increased by 3%. Hydro power plants generation decreased by 34%, generation in the thermal power plants increased by 7% and nuclear power plant increased by 319%.
In line with the higher production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in December 2013 also increased by 7%.
In December 2013, 602 GWh of electricity was imported and 760 GWh was exported.

Increase of energy supply in December 2013
In December 2013 supply of energy commodities in general went up with exception of Other Petroleum Products supply fell with 48% and Heavy Fuel Oil supply fell with 13%. Compared with previous month we further noticed supply rise as 44% with Coke Oven Coke, 19% with LPG, 12% with Lignite and Brown Coal, 12% with Natural Gas and 4% with Heating and Other Gasoil.
