Hamilton Group and Sierra Engineering have combined their expertise in engineering and onsite supervision in the oil and gas industry to form Sierra Hamilton. The combined company has nearly 70 years of collective experience working with multinational oil and gas corporations along with independent exploration and production firms.

"By combining our strengths, we have created a company that is greater than the sum of its parts," Sierra Hamilton CEO Pat Drennon said. "Sierra's strength is on land and working in the lower 48 states, while Hamilton has a global presence both on shore and off shore. That geographic experience, coupled with both companies' history in the industry, allows us to serve customers from exploration and development to production and completion."

The companies have built their reputation on delivering outstanding quality as well as creating efficiencies for blue-chip clients around the world. Projects stretch from the United States to South America, from the North Atlantic to Africa, and across Asia and into Australia.

Services include project engineering and planning, onsite supervision, and technology solutions for exploration, reservoir evaluation and production. The combined companies have more than 750 independent consultants, who bring vast experience to the enterprise, working on exploration and production projects.

"We can do so much more as one company than we could working separately," President Keith Grimes said. "This merger allows us to extend our reach to our clients, while offering greater opportunities to the hundreds of consultants we have working with us in the field."

New York-based Corinthian Capital Group acquired Hamilton Group in May 2012 and Sierra Engineering in November 2012, and worked on consolidating the companies in 2013. In December 2013, the merger of the two companies was completed and concurrently, the companies' debt was refinanced with a 144A private high-yield bond offering. Lazard Capital Markets LLC acted as sole book running manager for the bond offering. Legal advisor Clifford Chance US LLP represented Sierra Hamilton in the transaction.
