Bureaucracy and insufficiencies in law enforcement are the main problems preoccupying Czech businessmen. The Confederation of Industry congratulated to the new coalition government of prime minister Bohuslav Sobotka on the appointment to the office and demanded from it to distinctly improve the position of the Czech republic in the world. The key task of the new government, in the Confederation's opinion, should be the improvement of the Czech republic's competitiveness.

"I wish that this government would improve the competitiveness ranking of the country by ten places," the Confederation president Jaroslav Hanák said in an official statement. "We want to meet the government ministers in the next days and to present to them the list of the most actual problems."

The latest survey organized by the Confederation of Industry and the Czech National Bank showed that the Confederation' member companies complained mostly about the legislation, the bureaucracy, the insufficiency in law enforcement and the incomplete transport infrastructure.
