This week at CES, SMK Electronics will be demonstrating a variety of advanced automotive in-dash touch-panel controls including a Multi-Touch PADF model supporting multi-point touch detection and pinch operation, a Capacitive Touch-Panel control providing tactile user feedback, and a Touch-less display utilizing SMK’s proprietary “Proximity & Hover” sensing capability.

Additionally, SMK will showcase its advanced 1 Megapixel CMOS automotive cameras. Producing non-compressed digital streaming @ 30fps over a wide range of viewing angles, SMK’s new camera modules feature a Water Repellent & Antifouling lens coating to reduce grime accumulation while providing improved performance. With minimal mechanical size requirements, SMK’s ergonomically-sealed, IP67-rated camera modules are designed for automotive rearview, front-view and side-mirror integration.
