Reliv International : What Does A New Distributor Do in the First 48 Hours?

Congratulations, you just signed up as new Reliv Distributor, so let's talk about what you need to do in the first 48 hours. If you haven't done this already, your first step is to get with your upline and let them know what your goals are. For example, let's say that your desire is to become a true entrepreneur and do Reliv full time. That was my goal when I first started, and it was the smartest thing that I ever did. Indeed, there is nothing like being your own boss and having the freedom in your life to work when you want, play when you want and never miss an important event again because you're stuck at the office.

Now, if you have an amazing sponsor who is actively doing the business, you are on your way. Be a sponge. Learn from your upline and don't hesitate to use them as you go out there and talk to new people. The truth is that all successful network marketers learn to master a set of very simple and repeatable skills.

For the purpose of this blog, let's pretend for a moment that I'm your sponsor.

Now that I know you want to be your own boss and become a professional network marketer, let's get started. Let's begin by understanding that we need to treat our business like a business. I like to say, 'See it big but keep it simple.' As entrepreneurs, we need to be both disciplined and focused, we need to be plugged into the company as well as our local systems, and we need to know how to find and use the fabulous tools that Reliv provides for us.

Speaking of, let's go through the Reliv website starting with the product wheel so that we get a basic understanding of our powerful nutritional lineup. All of us begin with our core nutrition which is either Reliv Now® with Soy, Reliv Now® with Whey or Reliv Classic®. You must be a product of the product because you can't sell what you don't use or believe in. I go as far as to tell new folks that if they don't love our products, you can't be a Distributor.

The next thing I'm going to do with you is to go through our lucrative marketing plan so that you have a basic understanding on how you're going to make money. Again, all of this information is readily available on our website, which makes teaching today so much easier than ever before. 'I just show people how to push buttons,' said Reliv Hall of Famer Jim Schaben. 'It's so simple and duplicatable.'

Now that I know your goals and you have a basic understanding of our products and business, I want to go to the next step. So let's get you signed up for the Reliv Mobile App, get you hooked up with your own Reliv Personal Website and dedicate a nice spot in your home to do your business. Having an organized area just for your Reliv business is important, and now that you've got all the right tools, you're now ready for the next step. Let's go through the basic training together. We call that ICSAR, and it stands for the five simple steps that we do over and over again: Identify, Connect, Share, Ask, and Register.

Let me mention, too, that when I'm showing new Distributors the Reliv Mobile App or the website, I let them do the navigation because it helps them learn faster. Also, in today's world, you can go online and help your new prospects through these steps even if you live across town or across the world. That's one of the major reasons that today's network marketing is so much easier and more powerful than ever before!

And here's the most important part: Together, I want to make a list of at least 50 people you know who either need these products or this opportunity. Then, we will begin calling them and setting appointments. The truth is, I know of no better way to teach you the business than being right there with you whether it's in person or on the phone as we share the hope of Reliv with others. Furthermore, nothing gets a new person more excited than putting money in their pockets right away. And to keep you excited and on track during these first 48 hours, I'm also going to introduce you to leaders and stories throughout our close knit community so that you understand that you're in business for yourself but not by yourself.

So that's your first 48 hours! Our kickoff to building a mighty business together!
