Quantum Technologies Announces Date of 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Jan. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ: QTWW), a global leader in natural gas storage systems, integration and vehicle system technologies, today announced that it will hold its 2014 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "2014 Annual Meeting") on May 15, 2014. The record date, time and location of the Annual Meeting will be as set forth in the Company's proxy statement for the Annual Meeting.

Since the date of the Annual Meeting has changed by more than 30 days from the prior year's annual meeting date, proposals of stockholders intended to be included in our proxy materials for the 2014 Annual Meeting must be received by us no later than January 31, 2014. In addition, pursuant to the Company's bylaws, stockholders who wish to present a proposal before the Annual Meeting, but do not intend for the proposal to be included in our proxy statement, must provide written notice to the Company's Corporate Secretary no later than February 28, 2014.
