On 22-23 January, Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen will attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

"I look forward to discussions on ways to promote economic growth, employment and growth entrepreneurship. Finland can offer a lot to these discussions but we can also learn a great deal from other countries' experiences. It is very good that young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship will be given a central role in the meeting," said Prime Minister Katainen.

An invitation to attend the WEF's annual meeting in Davos has been sent to approximately one thousand global businesses leaders, political leaders from for example the G20 countries, heads of international organisations, media representatives and experts from a number of different areas. No decisions will be made in this meeting gauging the future of the world.
