Presidio Bank (OTCBB:PDOB), a Bay Area business bank, today announced that it has hired Richard Tong as Executive Vice President and East Bay Market President.

Mr. Tong has over three decades experience as a proven leader in the banking and finance industry. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President / Regional Banking Manager at City National Bank since 2002. While there, he was responsible for the success of 12 Bay Area offices located in San Francisco, Burlingame, Palo Alto, San Jose, Fremont, Oakland, Pleasanton, San Leandro and Walnut Creek. Prior to that, Mr. Tong worked for Citibank for 5 years as Senior Vice President and Commercial Markets Area Manager managing teams of commercial relationship managers and business development officers in the East Bay and Silicon Valley, with total team footing exceeding $1 billion.
Mr. Tong is active in the local community. Most notably, since 1997 he has been a volunteer and board member for Rebuilding Together Oakland, rehabilitating the homes of low-income elderly and disabled homeowners. He is also a volunteer for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Mr. Tong earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
