President of Ukraine : Head of the Presidential Administration had a meeting with the UK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine

Head of the Presidential Administration Ihor Rainin had a meeting with UK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine Judith Gough.

Ihor Rainin expressed gratitude to Great Britain for the unwavering support of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, particularly in the issue of keeping sanctions against Russia in force in response to the lasing aggression.

The parties agreed that sanctions against Russia must remain until full restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, including the return of Crimea

Judith Gough assured that the position of her country in support of Ukraine, particularly in the framework of the EU, remained unchanged.

Ihor Rainin noted the contribution of Great Britain to the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and expressed hope that the given cooperation would be continued and enhanced.

The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, particularly intensification of trade-economic interaction and schedule of contacts at the highest level.
