PrescribeWellness, the SaaS, cloud-based platform that empowers community pharmacists to deliver efficient patient communications and improve patient engagement, has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months and relocated their corporate headquarters to accommodate the growing client services and account management teams.

According to PrescribeWellness President & CEO, Al Babbington, the move was out of necessity due to the rapidly growing number of clients. “Thanks, in part, to strategic partnerships with thought leaders in the community pharmacy marketplace, PrescribeWellness has experienced 100% growth and servicing over 15 million patients over the past year or so. In order to keep up with our growing number of clients, we’ve expanded our client services and account management teams and needed to relocate to a larger space in Irvine, CA.”

PrescribeWellness has relocated to 49 Discovery, Suite 200, in Irvine, CA.

“We are well-positioned and poised to continue our journey working with community pharmacists to educate and inspire better health,” added Babbington.

In addition to the corporate office relocation, PrescribeWellness has announced the hiring of two industry executives: Joe Ulrich and Jay Williams.

Joe Ulrich has joined PrescribeWellness as Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Joe has 25 plus years of sales and sales management experience, divided in the biotech, pharmaceutical, consulting, and software industries. He is an award-winning sales management professional with strong expertise in business development, national account management, sales, and sales training. He has been an integral member of management teams that have successfully built start-up companies by constructing sales teams and trade departments from the ground up. Joe has received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from DePaul University.

Jay Williams has been named Vice President, Marketing. Jay has been working with PrescribeWellness in a consulting capacity over the past 18 months and now has been officially named to his new post. Jay brings over 20 years of experience in helping businesses improve their go-to-market strategy and execute their marketing services. He has spent the last 15 years working directly with pharmacy owners and the businesses that support them. Prior to starting his own consulting firm, Jay led the retail marketing team at Cardinal Health. In this role, he was responsible for all marketing deliverables impacting retail pharmacies. Earlier in his career, he held a similar role with the AmerisourceBergen. Jay earned a BSBA in Marketing from Ohio Northern University.

“We are pleased to welcome Joe to the PrescribeWellness team and formally announce Jay’s new role," said PrescribeWellness co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Tony Thuyen. “Both Joe and Jay bring a great blend of industry experience and innovative thinking to the PrescribeWellness leadership team.”
