Ameriflight, LLC announced it was recently acquired by Pebbles Aviation, LLC, a privately-held company based in Sarasota, Florida. The company also appointed Andrew D. Lotter as its new President. The sale was closed on December 31, 2013.

Established in 1968, Ameriflight is the largest United States FAA Part 135 air cargo carrier, operating scheduled and contract cargo services to destinations in 38 US states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. The airline, based at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California, has approximately 600 employees including 200 pilots and over 170 aircraft.

Ameriflight provides feeder services for overnight express carriers nationwide and internationally including UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Ameriflight also serves major freight forwarders, financial institutions, laboratories, and overnight couriers.

About Andrew D. Lotter, President of Ameriflight

President Andrew Lotter is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota with over 26-years experience in flight operations and aviation. Prior to his appointment as president, Mr. Lotter served as Ameriflight's Vice President of Flight Operations for six years. Mr. Lotter worked as the Director of Flight Operations for TransMeridian Airlines and start-up ReadyJetGo, also serving as Chief Pilot for Shuttle America. During his professional career Mr. Lotter has accumulated over 10,000 hours of flight time with numerous type ratings.
