After being selected as one of the Springboard programme's top three winners, Ooredoo honoured team 'My Garage' for their innovative project. The aspiring group of young Omani women designed a smartphone application which saves drivers across Oman a lot of time, money and efforts by providing them with key information on service centre locations, prices and quality of car related services.

Bodor bint Issa Al Harthi,Team Leader of 'My Garage' said, 'We initiated this project after holding several meetings where we discussed a huge number of prospective ideas to serve our community in the best way possible. Based on the needs of vehicle owners in the Sultanate, we have created the 'My Garage' application to cater to all car owners needs and to locate premier service providers at the push of a button.'

'We would like to thank Ooredoo for extending their support to the local communities, especially women. Springboard program has enabled us to make our dream come true,' She added.

The Springboard programme was created in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the British Council, with the belief that everyone has untapped potential that can be developed for the fulfilment of the individual, their employer and local communities. To date, the initiative has been introduced to over 175,000 women in over 22 countries all over the world.
